National STEM Day will be held at the Quincie Douglas Library in Tucson, AZ.

Free to attend!
1:00-2:30-Science learn about animal habitats for K-5th grades.
2:30-4:00 p.m.-Middle & high schoolers learn to build a rover and build with straws & connectors.

Pre-Schoolers in action!
The Pre-School STEM Program began this fall in Des Moines, Iowa with a grant from the United Way Organization to serve fifteen selected centers around the Des Moines metro area. If you are interested in having the program come to your center, please contact the office at 515-259-9430. The program will visit your center once or twice each month during the academic school year. Each session starts with a story and then an activity. Some of the topics covered include :
- Working with magnets
- Making lava bottles out of recycled materials
- Let's Get Buggin'
- Building with gears
- Making play-doh
